In exploring the remarkable emotions and discovering the profound meaning of the sacred writings of the Spanish baroque, this program comprises the works of genius composers including excerpts from the Cordoso Requiem. The passage of darkness to light is contrasted with the neglected baroque masterpieces of composers such as Taverner, Byrd and Tallis.  The pure voices of the Choir of the Theatre of Early Music - Canada's finest professional choir - return to Ottawa on November 14th in honour of our fallen soldiers.
