At the turn of the 18th century, Vienna flourished as a capital for the arts like never before. With large-scale construction across the city, new art commissions, and an influx of musicians from across the continent, the city embraced the baroque like no other. Musically, the city became a melting pot of sorts, showcasing all of the leading European baroque styles and enticing then-famous composers, such as Antonio Vivaldi, to live within its walls.

Join Our Very Own for an evening in Vienna. With a very special program of works from the turn of the 18th century, discover for yourself the music one might hear in the city that was to become capital of Europe’s music.
